Consumer Price Index / Inflation November 2019

Inflation that occurred in Aceh Province (Combined 3 Cities) was caused by a decrease in the consumer price index in the Foodstuffs expenditure group of deflation of 0.81 percent and clothing deflation of 0.07 percent. While the expenditure groups that experienced an increase were Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel inflation of 0.37 percent, Health inflation of 0.10 percent, Processed Foods, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco inflation of 0.05 percent, Transport, Communication & Services Financial inflation is 0.03 percent, and Education, Recreation & Sports inflation is 0.01 percent.

Year on year inflation (November 2019 to November 2018) for Banda Aceh City was 0.93 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.65 percent, Meulaboh City 4.97 percent and Aceh Province 1.65 percent.

The Core Component for Aceh Province in November 2019 experienced inflation of 0.16 percent, the component whose Government Regulated Price was inflation of 0.03 percent, and the Turbulent component experienced deflation of 0.90 percent.
