Consumer Price Index / Inflation September 2019

Deflation that occurred in the Province of Aceh (Combined 3 Cities) was caused by a decrease in the consumer price index for the expenditure group: deflation in Foodstuffs 1.68 percent, and deflation in the Transportation, Communication & Financial Services group 0.07 percent. While the groups that experienced an increase in the index were clothing inflation 0.49 percent, health inflation 0.23 percent, education, recreation & sports inflation 0.20 percent, processed food, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco 0.10 percent inflation, housing, water , Electricity, Gas & Fuel 0.02 percent inflation.

Year on year inflation (September 2019 to September 2018) for Banda Aceh City was 2.22 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.89 percent, Meulaboh City 5.21 percent and Aceh Province 2.51 percent.
