Aceh Economic Growth Quarter I-2020

The economy of Aceh in the first quarter of 2020 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp 41.26 trillion or US $ 2.90 billion. Meanwhile the GRDP without oil and gas was IDR 40.18 trillion or US $ 2.82 billion.

Aceh's economy with oil and gas in the first quarter of 2020 compared to the first quarter of 2019 grew by 3.17 percent (y-on-y), slowing compared to the achievements of the first quarter of 2019 of 3.88 percent. While the growth of y-on-y in the first quarter of 2020 without oil and gas was 4.26 percent higher than the achievements in the first quarter of 2019 of 3.88 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the construction business field at 19.06 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was in the components of foreign exports at 42.31 percent.

The economy of Aceh with oil and gas in the first quarter of 2020 compared to quarter IV-2019 (q-to-q) decreased by 4.55 percent. While q-to-q without oil and gas also decreased by 4.02 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the information and communication business sector at 7.28 percent. In terms of expenditure the highest growth was in the foreign export component of 23.18 percent.
