Human Development Index of Pidie Regency

The Human Development Index is one of the benchmarks for overall development performance. This index is built through a three-dimensional approach, namely a long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent living. The indicators that represent these three dimensions are summarized in a single value, namely the Human Development Index (HDI). The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) annually conducts surveys to produce various economic and social indicators, one of which is used to calculate the Human Development Index. Since 2014 there has been an improvement in the method of calculating the Human Development Index (HDI) with a new method. The publication of the Pidie District HDI in 2021 contains the conditions of Pidie's HDI achievements from 2015 to 2020. The presentation of data and analysis included aims to provide an overview of the conditions of Pidie's human development.
