Consumer Price Index / Inflation October 2019

Inflation that occurred in Aceh Province (Combined 3 Cities) was caused by rising consumer price index in the expenditure groups of processed food, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco by 1.01 percent, education, recreation & sports inflation 0.26 percent inflation, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel inflation 0.07 percent, Health inflation 0.04 percent. While the expenditure groups that experienced a decline were the Deflation Clothing group 0.15 percent, and the Transportation, Communication & Financial Services and Foodstuffs group respectively deflation by 0.01 percent.

Year on year (October 2019 to October 2018) inflation for Banda Aceh City was 1.96 percent, Lhokseumawe City 1.92 percent, Meulaboh City 5.58 percent and Aceh Province 2.41 percent.
