Inflation that occurred in the Province of Aceh (Combined 3 Cities) occurred because of an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most of the expenditure group index, namely: Clothing and Footwear 1.11 percent; Health Group 1.05 percent; Personal Care Group and Other Services 0.71 percent; Transportation group 0.86 percent; Recreation, Sports and Culture group 0.67 percent; Housing, Water, Electricity, and Household Fuel Group 0.43 percent; The Food, Beverage and Tobacco Group 0.22 percent; Food and Beverage / Restaurant Supply Group 0.17 percent, Household Equipment, Equipment and Routine Maintenance Group 0.12 percent and Information, Communication and Financial Services Group 0.05 percent. Meanwhile the Education Group did not experience changes in the index.

The inflation rate for the calendar year February 2020 (February 2020 against December 2019) for Meulaboh City was 1.35 percent, Banda Aceh City was 1.31 percent, Lhokseumawe City 0.56 percent and Aceh Province 1.11 percent.

Year on year inflation (February 2020 against February 2019) for Meulaboh City was 5.23 percent, Banda Aceh City was 2.76 percent, Lhokseumawe City was 2.46 percent, and Aceh Province was 3.00 percent.
