Aceh Economic Growth Quarter I-2021

Aceh's economy in the first quarter of 2021 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at current prices reached IDR 41.68 trillion or US $ 2.94 billion. Meanwhile, the GRDP without oil and gas was IDR 40.39 trillion or US $ 2.85 billion.

Aceh's economy with oil and gas in the first quarter of 2021 against the first quarter of 2020 fell by 1.95 percent (y-on-y) while the achievements in the first quarter of 2020 decreased by 3.45 percent. The y-on-y growth in the first quarter of 2021 without oil and gas decreased by 2.15 percent while the achievement in the first quarter of 2020 decreased by 4.55 percent. From the production side, the highest y-on-y growth was achieved by the processing industry business sector at 10.37 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest y-on-y growth was in the government consumption expenditure component, amounting to 61.66 percent.

Aceh's economy with oil and gas in the first quarter of 2021 when compared to the fourth quarter of 2020 (q-to-q) decreased by 3.43 percent. Meanwhile, q-to-q without oil and gas also decreased by 3.03 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the transportation and warehousing business fields at 17.83 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was in the foreign export component at 62.43 percent.
